He conducted a thorough inspection of various construction works at the station and yard, including the new entrance gate, expanded circulating area, platform sheds, paid-for toilets, modernized waiting areas, signage, water drainage, and the reservation building.
He also inspected the second entrance gate, approach road, ticket booking office, reception area, parcel office, pedestrian overbridge, and new platforms. He checked the diesel lobby, the CMS kiosk (including sign-on/off, breath analyzer, and duty booking register), the guard-loco pilot running room, and the Railway Protection Force (RPF) barrack. He praised the security personnel for their efforts in crime control.
The inspection team included senior officials from the Varanasi Division, including the Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Infrastructure), senior divisional engineers, and other staff members.
