On May 11th, Anita Kushwaha, a resident of Shahpur, boarded the Nauatanwa Intercity Express (train number 15105) at Mairwa Railway Station at approximately 7:27 AM. Anita then went to the washroom. Upon returning, she found the three individuals gone and her trolley bag cut open. Missing from the bag was a gold necklace, chain, mangalsutra, earrings, three gold rings, a pair of silver anklets, and a pair of silver bangles, all kept in a small jewelry purse inside the bag. Anita filed a case with the GRP after returning home.

Check karne pe pata chala ki uske trolley bag ka chain khola gaya tha aur trolley bag ko kaat ke usme rakha gold necklace, chain, mangalsutra, earrings, three gold rings, a pair of silver anklets, aur a pair of silver bangles sab gayab tha. Ghar aane ke baad Anita ne GRP mein case register karwaya.
