master at Chaube station was alerted and stopped the train at 7:21 AM. The fire was brought under control with the help of railway personnel and fire extinguishers, preventing a major incident. The train resumed its journey towards Dhanbad at 7:48 AM. According to Assistant Sub-Inspector Arun Kumar of RPF, smoke near the wheel can sometimes occur due to brake binding in moving trains. He stated that after the situation normalized, the train departed again.
