Express has been increasing due to the revitalization of Gorakhpur, with people from Gorakhpur, Basti, Bihar and Nepal seeking a faster and more comfortable travel option. Currently, 15 pairs of Rajdhani Express trains connect New Delhi to various cities, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Raipur, Chennai, Guwahati/Dibrugarh, Ranchi, Kolkata, Jammu, Mumbai, Patna, Secunderabad, and Trivandrum. A Rajdhani Express would significantly improve travel time for people from Gorakhpur and neighboring areas, offering a more comfortable journey with air-conditioned coaches, a speed of 110-160 km/h, and vegetarian and non-vegetarian food options.
