So once the Chandrauli - Adheenpur Route Length of 58.66 km is doubled (and electrified too) then the entire route may become fit to speed up LHB trains like Durgiana Express. If the MPS becomes something between 115 to 120 Kmph then the travel time between BSB and LKO via SLN should come down to 4.5 to 5 Hours. Right? :) #TrackReforms

Electric locos reaching at Katra, Dehradun and Daund within intervals of few weeks show that CORE is pretty serious about rail electrification on various routes under the Present Ministry of Railways lead by Mr. Prabhu. It seems that track doubling is slightly slower than electrifying a crucial route (For eg: BSB-ALD via Phaphamau) ... Ambala - Patiala - Bhatinda - Ferozpur route(s) may be next in line :) . #TrackReforms
