more... The tracks were lowered from the Kanpur Central station cutout and an FBW (Flash Butt Weld) plant was used for welding. After completing track laying in the 1250-meter 'downline' tunnel, track slab casting will begin. The 'upline' track construction is also progressing swiftly. On July 12th, a test run brought the metro to Nayaganj station to test the track and power supply.
