Even if WAP7 is attached, the track allows the train to run at 110 kmph between Pune to Lonavla. From there onwards, the ghat section is 60 kmph, Karjat Panvel is not above 110 kmph. In KR where the speed limit is 120, the train has ICF coaches so again it cannot travel above 110.
The max speed of WAG7 is 105 and WAG9 is 100, WAG9HC is 110kmph. SO it hardly makes difference with the loco for the section where train runs and ICF coaches.
Railway giving any lame excuses
please wait...Translate to EnglishEven if they hook up a powerful WAP7 engine, the railway track only lets the train zoom at 110 kmph from Pune to Lonavla. After that, it's a slow 60 kmph through the hilly twists until Karjat Panvel. Even in KR areas where they could go faster, the old-school ICF coaches cap it at 110. The beefiest WAG7 sags at 105, WAG9 at 100, and WAG9HC at 110 kmph. So, other than for show, the choice of engine doesn't do squat when you're hauling those slow coaches along this route. The rail folks really lackin' in their excuses, man.
please wait...Translate to HindiBhai, WAP7 laga ho ya na laga ho, Pune se Lonavla jaane ka rasta train ko 110 kmph per chalne deta hai. Uske baad, ghat section mein 60 kmph hai, Karjat Panvel mein 110 kmph se upar nahi ja sakti. KR mein jo speed limit hai 120, train ke paas ICF coach hai toh phir bhi upar 110 nahi jaa sakti.
WAG7 ki max speed 105 hai aur WAG9 ki 100, WAG9HC ki 110kmph hai. Toh loco ka hardly koi fark nahi padta jahaan train chalti hai aur ICF coaches hoti hain.
Railway koi bekaar bahane de rahi hai.
