I completely understand & respect everything you have elaborated. Yes, I haven't been to Ongole & it's alright if you don't give a damn. I also want to remind you that I never said Nizamabad has high potential land, I said Nizamabad is a high potential border city and the station acts as a convergence for significantly important lines compared to Ongole. As far as I know, in addition to the existing NZB-SC, NZB-MUE, NZB-BDN, NZB-PDPL lines, there's proposal for extending NZB-JKM-BDN railway line either towards Latur or Bidar, and similarly NZB-ARMR line towards Adilabad.
Let's get back to your second question; yes, I do not have idea regarding the land availability at Ongole but I know that it could easily be...
more... more than Nzb due to the later city's congestion rate, but unsurprisingly that doesn't mean a city's or railway station's significance can be judged based on the number of train halts and land availability. However, I see the current & major advantage that Ongole has is, it lies on the Grand Trunk Route. The more is yet to come for Nizamabad.
