Local trains[for Baidhyanath Dham/Dumka] start from PF 4 and 5 which are adjacent/next to PF 1. The station has a paid AC lounge on PF1. Retiring room is outside the main station. Technically, all three stations here = Jasidih, Baidhyathdham and Deoghar have retiring room facilities, but when I visited only JSME was operational and no one was staying at Baidhyanath Dham one. One would need to go to counter number 7 first to approve their booking and then to the 'Enquiry Office' to enter your details. It's a lot of paperwork and corruption is involved. The RR person/caretaker might even ask you for a bribe once you are leaving your room permanently.
Everything...
more... goes for more than MRP in and around this place except for a few exceptions[ even in government owned shops]. The only good thing is the IRCTC restaurant next to the retiring room which has decent food and the lake side view near to the rail station.
