Surat. Currently, these workers have to travel from Koderma to Mirzapur, where they catch the Ganga Tapti Express to Surat. Delays in any of these journeys force the workers to spend unnecessary time at stations. A direct train service from Koderma to Surat would be a boon for local workers.

The train driver was unable to prevent the incident despite seeing it. The police are trying to identify the deceased, who was not carrying any identification or mobile phone.
