Plaster gir raha hai aur barish me pani bhi seeps hota hai. Station master office ke kuchh employees ne bataya ki station ke office aur ticket ghar me baithne me bohot dar lagta hai. Chhat ka plaster kabhi bhi gir sakta hai. Isse employees ko chot lagne ka risk hai. Railway ke senior officers ko bataya gaya hai, par repair nahi hui. Employees risk me rehte hue kaam karne ko majboor hain.

Various improvements have been made to the division, including the expansion of platform number one at Katras station and the extension of the foot-over bridge at Gomoh station. A new alternative line is under construction for the DC line, starting from Gaya police outer in Dhanbad and reaching Telo via Matari, which will help eliminate the need to change engines at Gomoh for trains going to Chandrapura. To increase train speed, thick-web switches have been installed at eight locations, enabling trains to run at 160 km/h. These locations are Khalari, Barkakana, Bhandaridih, Chopan, Mirchadhuri, Phusro, Rey, and Ranaghat stations. In anticipation of the upcoming Shravani Mela, the Dhanbad Rail Division has requested a special train from Dhanbad to Sultanagunj. A request for a train for Chhath has also been submitted, including a special train from Dhanbad to Sitamarhi and Gorakhpur.

DC line ke liye ek alternative line ban raha hai, Gaya police outer se shuru hoke Telo tak Matari se jaayega, jisse Gomoh pe engine badalne ki jaroorat nahi rahegi Chandrapura jaane wali trains ke liye. Train ki speed badhane ke liye, aath jagah pe thick-web switch lagaaye gaye hain, 160 km/h tak speed se train chala sakti hain. Ye jagah hain Khalari, Barkakana, Bhandaridih, Chopan, Mirchadhuri, Phusro, Rey, aur Ranaghat stations.
