The third line will allow for increased train speed and frequency, eliminating unnecessary stops at Outer, Domingarh, Nakaha, and Cantt stations for passenger trains traveling between Lucknow, Gorakhpur, and Bihar. This will improve the overall efficiency of the Barabanki-Gorakhpur-Chhapra rail route, which is currently operating with 1.5 times its capacity, causing delays and hindering the operation of new trains.
