The Eastern Railway's Chief Public Relations Officer, Kaushik Mitra, confirmed the tour will take travellers to the ancient religious and tourist destinations of Mansakhand. The package includes hotel arrangements, transportation by buses, sightseeing, and other amenities. The tour will cover destinations like Almora, Bhimtal, Champawat, Lohaghat, Chaukori, Nainital, and Tanakpur. The journey will begin in Howrah and will cover 10 nights and 11 days. It will pass through Howrah, Bardhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Jasidih, Barauni, Hajipur, Siwan, Chhapra, and Gorakhpur. The IRCTC package includes a 3-tier AC class train journey. The Ministry of Railways, through IRCTC, has arranged for accommodation in hotels or homestays, transportation by non-AC buses, and sightseeing tours. The train will be equipped with professional tour escorts, housekeeping staff, security personnel, CCTV cameras, a PA system, and travel insurance coverage. The prices for the tour are INR 28,020 per person for the standard class and INR 35,340 per person for the deluxe class.
