the Pilibhit MP. Gulati said that although the Railway Ministry has started some trains on the Mailani-Pilibhit section, which was shut for seven years, the long-distance trains are weekly, which is insufficient. Hundreds of lawyers, farmers, students, businessmen, and milk vendors travel to the district headquarters daily from Puranpur. The lack of regular trains between Mailani and Bareilly is causing inconvenience to the public. Puranpur's business is also affected. Gupta has written to the MP and Union Minister, Jitin Prasad, urging them to run at least four pairs of passenger trains and two to three pairs of express trains regularly between Mailani and Bareilly. This would benefit the local population.
