Rail-track doubling through Alappuzha: Land owners in Aroor demand a better due

The Railway, however, maintains that only necessary land is acquired and that such demands often lead to litigation. The project, aiming for speedy completion, has divided the 69 km Ernakulam-Ambalappuzha corridor into three reaches. The Railway expects to complete land acquisition by 2024, followed by track laying which could take another two years.

Unhone aise logon ke liye construction norms mein relaxation ki bhi maang ki hai jinhone dusri baar apni zameen di hai. Railway ka kehna hai ki sirf zaruri zameen hi li jaati hai aur aise demands se aksar litigation hota hai. Project jaldi complete karne ke liye 69 km Ernakulam-Ambalappuzha corridor ko teen reaches mein divide kiya gaya hai. Railway ko ummeed hai ki land acquisition 2024 tak complete ho jaayega, uske baad track lay karne mein aur do saal lag sakte hain.
