Before commencing the wire installation, the railway performed a ritualistic inauguration. The work began from Hansi, covering a distance of 69.6 kilometers. The installation of electric poles between Sorakhi and Mudhanl has been temporarily halted and is expected to be completed by February 15th. Due to the lack of electrification, goods trains are currently running on diesel engines. Regular goods trains now operate on the Hansi-Mahm-Rohtak railway line, with about five goods trains passing through daily. Goods trains previously passing through Bhiwani are now routed through this new railway line. Regular staff has been assigned to the newly built stations. The railway line, constructed at a cost of approximately 755 crore rupees, will shorten the distance between Hisar and Rohtak by 20 kilometers. Railway officials anticipate the commencement of train operations on this line by March. The railway recently released the schedule for two trains on this new railway track.
