Good that SWR took extra efforts to run many interstate trains. Can SWR specify how many extra intrastate trains (of other zones towns) run during summer ?
For example, Belagavi to Kalaburagi/ Bidar or Ballari to Mangalore or Mysore/ Hassan to Raichur etc.

That was my first thought when I read this article . It is good that interstate special trains are run , but unfortunately the issue of intra-state connectivity still persists . As the saying goes " Too many cooks spoil the broth " , similarly, too many zones for a single state have messed up intra state connectivity for Karnataka. None of them , including SWR want to shoulder responsibility in this regard. In this aspect, Tamil Nadu and kerela are relatively better placed.
